The AEFA is an international film festival organization dedicated to celebrating outstanding storytelling in cinema. Throughout the year, our festivals hosts monthly live screening events across Europe, showcasing exceptional films and bringing filmmakers, screenwriters, and audiences together.   Each season culminates in the Ardélion Awards Gala, where only the very best productions receive nominations. These selected finalists represent our highest achievements and compete for our prestigious Ardélion Award, honoring excellence in filmmaking and storytelling on an international stage.

The gala offers a mix of networking opportunities, live music, spectacular performances, live screenings, the Ardélion Awards ceremony, and much more. In short, it promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with mystery, magic and spectacle.

As a nominee, you are invited to attend the gala. Depending on whether you submitted your film/screenplay directly through us or via FilmFreeway, you will receive an email either from us or through FilmFreeway with further details. This email will include a registration link for attending the gala. Once you have completed your registration, you will receive a unique code corresponding to your nomination. With this code, you can purchase your gala ticket(s) via our website.

Yes! You're absolutely welcome to attend the gala with your entire crew, as well as friends and family.

Unfortunately, we are not in a financial position to fully cover travel and accommodation expenses. However, we do our best to assist where possible. As a nominee, you will receive a special discount code for a nearby hotel, allowing you to stay at a reduced rate. This code will be sent to you automatically after you have purchased your gala ticket(s).

Visa applications for attending the gala must be arranged through the appropriate embassy in your country of residence. To support this process, we can provide you with a letter of invitation. Please feel free to email us to request this document, and we will be happy to prepare it for you.

If you wish to maintain your film’s premiere status, that is certainly possible. Please send us an email so we can make a note in our system. We will ensure that your film will not be screened during any of our events, even in the event of a win.

During the gala, a selection of drinks and light bites will be available at each table. Additional (alcoholic) beverages and snacks can be purchased at the bar. A full dinner will not be served, so we recommend having a meal before arrival.
